WHAT TO EXPECT
SOURCE CONNECT
As a mitigation to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have employed the source-connect [standard] service, to allow us to continue to serve our loyal clients, in the voice over arena.
RECORDING
Our state-of-the-art facility produces industry standard, high-quality audio.
We offer Voice-overs, Audio-books, Demos, Singles/EPs/LPs, Commercial Audio, Vocal Drops, ADR, Video Production, along with mixing and mastering.
STUDIO GEAR
We currently run, on apple platform, a Digital Audio Workstation program called Studio One 6 Professional, and Notion 4 notation software, by Presonus, in conjunction with Presonus STUDIOLIVE 64S in the studio, & Faderport v2, central station and earmax 16m for monitoring in the vocal booth.
Our system allows singers to have full control of their mix, via wifi, by downloading QMix-UC. The other fascinating detail, regarding our set up, is that singers can attain any custom setting, to ensure they are comfortable. This was extremely important, to Ryan Lewis, the owner and founder of EMS, who specializes in vocal production. “being a vocalist, for over 30 years, I know what my challenges were, and I was tenacious in my quest to acquire a system that would cater to the needs of singers, and musicians alike. BOOKING RECORDINGS
EMS sessions need to be booked in advance. In order to be registered for a booking. There is a 2 hour minimum requirement. A mandatory $200.00 fee, plus HST, must be paid. Booking a session means that an engineer is scheduled for that time slot, and will loose income, in the event of a no-show.
IMPORTANT NOTE
It is important to note, for the protection of our clients' information, and as a mitigation to the tyranny of malicious cyber attacks, that we DO NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, open links. If you need to use files to record your projects, i.e: instrumentals for your projects, including stems of audio and/or effects, they must be presented in wave, or mp3, on a memory stick, ignorer for us to apply them to your project. Should you create a booking with us, and are not prepared with the necessary files, in correct format, to complete your project, bookings will not be postponed, nor will a refund be given.
